Privacy Obligations
Market Probe is an international market research company and a member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO). CASRO members are mandated to adhere to the high standards set forth in the CASRO Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research. This Code mandates agreed-upon rules of ethical conduct for Survey Research Organizations, including Confidentiality and Privacy.
Survey research organizations, including Market Probe, are responsible for protecting from disclosure to third parties--including clients and members of the public--the identity of individual respondents as well as the identifiable information from that individual, unless the individual expressly requests or permits such disclosure.
Market Probe does not sell, rent, trade or give personal information to any third party for the purpose of directly marketing products or services. In some cases we may need to share personal information with third parties that provide research services in support of research projects. Any third party that receives personal information is required to follow all of the same privacy protection regulations as followed by Market Probe.
Under certain circumstances permitted or required by law (for example, in connection with law enforcement investigations), Market Probe may be required to disclose client data or personal information without giving notice.
Security
Market Probe takes reasonable precautions to protect personal data from loss, misuse, tampering, destruction and unauthorized access. These precautions include password protection for on-line information systems, firewalls, restricted access to personal data, and many other measures implemented by Market Probe’s Information Technology Division.
Research Participation
Survey research participation is voluntary and respondents always have the opportunity to decline involvement or to “opt out” of the research. We do not collect personal information without the respondent’s consent.
Use of Cookies
Market Probe may use cookies to provide a better experience for our customers. We limit their use for quality control, validation and Web site ease-of-use. Cookies may be used temporarily during the time you are actively completing a survey or filling out the registration forms. You always have the option to disable cookies in your browser while registering or completing a survey without affecting your participation. No personally identifiable information is transmitted via these cookies.
