As part of our ongoing research efforts in understanding customer and brand advocacy in technology markets, Market Probe has been testing incidence rates of leading-edge solutions like cloud computing and converged infrastructure. While these solutions have been hyped in the press and media, we think this is totally justifiable and if anything, does not address the full implications for these technologies. This work is to support our groundbreaking multiclient study on Customer Loyalty and Advocacy.
We believe that this data shows that enterprise organizations are charging ahead and underscores the importance of both of these important solutions.
Specifically, we examined use of these technologies for the market overall and by four major providers (IBM, HP, Microsoft and Cisco). We break this analysis down by establishment size examining companies with 100 to 1000 employees and those with 1000+ employees. Surprisingly, usage is roughly the same in both segments.
